1. About these terms
These terms govern use of alessiahq.com and other public websites operated by Alessia International Ltd (“Alessia”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Alessia International Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17259224. Its registered office is 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. Contact support@alessiahq.com for general enquiries, legal@alessiahq.com for legal notices and privacy@alessiahq.com for privacy enquiries.
Use of the Alessia application and paid services is governed by separate service terms. Institution services are also governed by the relevant Order Document and institutional agreement.
2. Website information
The website provides general information about Alessia's portfolio, logbook, education and institution services. Website content is not medical, legal, regulatory, credentialing or professional advice. It must not be used for patient care or as evidence that a particular portfolio will satisfy a regulator, professional body, university, employer or training programme.
References to specialties, competency frameworks, recognition routes, clinical terminology, assessment tools or professional bodies describe potential ways users may organise evidence. They do not establish approval, partnership, accreditation, endorsement, completeness or guaranteed acceptance.
Features marked “coming soon”, “planned”, “roadmap”, “pilot” or similar are not current commitments. Timings, availability and final functionality may change.
3. Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but do not promise that all content is complete, current or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw website content or functionality. Material subscription terms shown at checkout will take priority over general marketing copy if there is an inconsistency, except that nothing limits mandatory consumer rights.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Alessia owns or licenses the website design, branding, text, graphics, software and other content. You may view and make a reasonable personal copy for evaluating Alessia. You must not scrape, republish, sell, systematically extract, train a model on, or create a competing dataset or service from website content.
Third-party names, frameworks, terminology and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement. Separate attribution and licence notices may apply.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with availability, harvest contact details, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or misleading information, or use a form to transmit patient data or other confidential clinical information.
6. Links and third-party services
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Alessia does not control or endorse them and is not responsible for their content, terms, privacy or availability.
7. Contact forms and newsletters
Information submitted through a contact or newsletter form is handled under the privacy notice. Do not include patient data, confidential records or sensitive evidence in a public website form.
Newsletter recipients may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each message. Website forms present any optional marketing choice separately from privacy acknowledgements and acceptance of contractual terms.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that rule, Alessia is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website content, third-party websites, unavailable roadmap features or use of website information for clinical, regulatory or credentialing decisions.
9. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information. Our Cookie Notice and consent controls explain the analytics and other technologies used on the website. On the marketing website, non-essential storage and tracking remain disabled until you accept them. Current provider identities are published in the Subprocessor and Service-provider List and, where relevant to your choice, identified in the consent interface.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory right to use the courts and laws of their country of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes affecting registered users will be communicated as required by the applicable service terms and law.
12. Accessibility
We aim to make our website and consumer purchasing journey accessible. Our Accessibility Statement describes the current accessibility position and how to contact us for help.
